The Role of the Committee
The PICS Education and Science Committee promotes and supports multi-disciplinary education, training and research in all aspects of paediatric intensive Care. Our aim is to encourage excellence in the delivery of critical care for children and their families.
Our key roles include:
- Support of research through coordination of PICS Research and Travel Fellowships
- Promotion of research through organisation of research presentations in paediatric critical care at PICS annual conference and that of the RCPCH
- To encourage education and training through provision of educational events and joint working with educational and training bodies
